Affordability

Planned Parenthood accepts Aetna, Bluecross, Blue Shield, Bright Health, Cigna, United (and Community Plan), Humana, Bluecare, Tenncare Select, Tricare, Amerigroup, and MS medicaid. If you do not have insurance Planned Parenthood offers sliding scale rates and does not require proof of income.

Accessibility

Walk-in appointments are available for those who need birth control refills, Depo-Provera (depo shot), or emergency contraception.

Inclusivity

Planned Parenthood supports people who identify as LGBTQ+ but hormone therapies are currently only offered in Knoxville. Interpreter services are available but you should request them when you make an appointment.
